Description

A horrible fire raged in the night in Oakland on Friday December 2nd. The fire, which was in a warehouse, also housed an artist collective.

Alameda county Sheriffs Office said that it could take several days to get an accurate count of those injured. The authorities are continuing
to try to stabilize the remains of the structure in the Fruitvale district. An electronic music party was being housed in the warehouse at the time of the fire.

The art gallery and the artists studios were illegally housed in the building. Recovery and potential rescue will continue to be slow due to structure instability. slowly through the night because of darkness and the unstable infrastructure of the charred building.
